Do you have everything you need for your kitchen? You might be surprised by some of the things you don’t have. Today, I’m sharing a list of kitchen tools and gadgets you need in your home. These are some of my top recommendations for adding to your kitchen.
Kitchen Gadgets and Tools You Need
Cup Rinser
This is one of the coolest gadgets I’ve ever seen. It attaches to your sink. When you have a dirty glass, you put it rim-down on the rinser and push down. It shoots water up and rinses the entire inside of the glass. It’s so cool, but also works really well! I use ours every time after I use a glass.
Mug Rack
Easily access and display your coffee mugs right where you need them. This is great if you don’t have cabinet space or if you just want your mugs visible. For me, I didn’t have enough room to store all of my mugs, so this is a great solution. It looks especially good when you have a matching set of mugs to hang.
Pantry Cabinet
Many homes do not have a dedicated pantry space, mine included. If you have room for one, a free-standing cabinet works great as a pantry. There are so many cabinets available with different configurations. You can get them with a combination of shelf space and drawers and in different colors/finishes. Once you have one, you can fill it with food, extra kitchen gadgets, or whatever you need the space for.
Glass Tumblers
These glasses are not only pretty, but they also keep pet fur, bugs, and debris out of your drink! They come with a glass lid and glass straw and look very classy. They are on the delicate side, so just be cautious when handling them.
Quality Knife Block
I used to have a knife set from a well-known brand, but they just weren’t that great. I asked my mom to get me a nice set for Christmas and she found a random set on Amazon that turned out to be amazing. The knives are beautiful and are great quality. They’re much sharper than the other brand I had. It’s really beneficial to have good knives in your kitchen.

Frother
This is an item that doesn’t seem super necessary, but is so useful once you have it. It’s battery-operated and comes in all kinds of colors. You can easily froth your milk, or use it to simply mix your coffee, tea, or other drink. It only takes seconds to use and it’s easy to clean.
Digital Magnetic Meat Thermometer
Having a meat thermometer is essential if you cook a lot. It helps you cook your meat just right and ensures you’re not undercooking things like chicken or pork. This magnetic one can go right on your fridge so that you can easily grab it at any time. So convenient!

Keurig K-Duo Plus
We all have our favorite coffee makers. There are those that like making a full pot with coffee grounds. There are others that like the simplicity of popping a K-cup into a Keurig. This coffee maker gives you the option to do either! You can make a full pot of coffee in the morning and a cup of tea in the afternoon. You can use coffee grounds or K-cups. Plus, there are even more options you can choose to give you exactly what you want. You have to check it out!

Digital Kitchen Scale
A kitchen scale is useful for measuring ingredients, checking serving sizes, and portioning food. I find it useful when I’m baking or portioning out ground meat in 1 lb increments. This one is sleek, lightweight, easy to store, and easy to use.
Under sink organizer
Under the kitchen sink there’s usually a lot of space that doesn’t get used. You can get an organizer that will help maximize the space though. These organizers have two stacked drawers that can hold all of the loose items that usually live under the sink, like sponges, brushes, soap, and dishwasher pods. Not only can you fit more stuff in the space, but also keep it all neat and tidy too.

Rollup Drying Rack
You may have a dish drying rack on your counter, but they fill up quickly. Then adding more dishes becomes a delicate game of stacking. The rollup drying rack lays across the width of your sink. You can put dishes on the rack or even vegetables/fruit that you’ve rinsed. When you’re done with it, you roll it up and put it to the side.
Handheld Zester & Grater
These are perfect for grating fresh parmesan onto pasta or zesting citrus fruit like lemon. It’s so much easier than breaking out the full grater. You’ll feel like an actual chef when you’re using it too.

KitchenAid Stand Mixer
If you don’t have one already, a KitchenAid mixer should be high on your wishlist. It’s one of the best items on this kitchen gadgets and tools list. They’re great for baking, but you can also do other things with them, like make fresh pasta, shred meat/cheese, churn ice cream, knead dough, make juice, and lots more. It’s a big purchase, but so worth it.

Customizable Spice Rack
A dedicated spice rack saves you from digging through a cabinet or drawer full of random, mismatched spices. A spice rack like this comes with labels for all of the common spices and little jars to fill up. You get to label and choose the spices that go on the rack. Then, you have them all accessible, labeled and ready to use right in front of you. It makes cooking so much easier.

Toaster Oven
A good toaster oven can change your life. Nowadays, they have so many more functions than they used to. The Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro has it all and then some. It does all of the regular functions of a toaster oven, but it also has specific settings for cookies, pizza, proofing, dehydrating, air-frying, slow cooking and more. This is a top-of-the-line countertop oven. Aside from the KitchenAid mixer, this oven is one of my favorite things in my kitchen.
