Fall is a great time to bake delicious things, especially if you’re a pumpkin lover. A quick Pinterest search will return lots of options. Even better, try something you’ve never made before. It’ll be fun having a taste test at the end.
2. Go to a pumpkin patch.
The photo opportunity is worth it and it’s something you only get to do once a year. You can pick out pumpkins for carving later or just to set out around your home. The mini pumpkins are great for tablescapes and mantles.

Whether you go shopping for new ones or just peruse your candle collection in the closet, pick out Fall candles together to set out for the season. Light a couple of them to create a cozy vibe.

11. Go on a road trip.
It’s an ideal time of year for a little weekend getaway or even just a short day trip to keep things more cost effective. It’s the sweet spot where the weather isn’t too hot anymore and it’s also right before the major rain and snow. A road trip gives you a chance to explore nearby cities and towns that you haven’t checked out yet.
12. Carve and decorate pumpkins.
Remember those pumpkins you got at the pumpkin patch? It’s time to get creative! Put on some music or binge something on Netflix while you decorate. You can do the simple carving or take it a step further and use paints, glitter, and jewels to jazz up your pumpkins.
13. Work on a puzzle.
Working towards a common goal together helps strengthen a relationship. A puzzle is a low-key, lighthearted way to work on something together. Grab a wine or a cider and spread out your puzzle pieces. Completing the edge first is always a good way to start.
14. Go on a hike.
Get active together. The weather is nice, the landscape is beautiful, and the endorphins you get after exercising help boost your mood.
