Living amongst clutter? I feel your pain. Been there and it’s not fun. For me, organization plays a huge role in making a happy home. Living clutter-free creates a more peaceful, relaxing environment. I love to organize and am constantly looking for ways to eliminate clutter. I’m always searching for the best storage and organization pieces, but it can get costly. So I hunted through Amazon to find the top home storage organizers that are both affordable and functional. I compiled a list of 12 and they’re all under $30!!
Top 12 Home Storage Organizers from Amazon Under $30
1. Desk top bookshelf. This decorative bookshelf is not only pretty, but super functional. It can sit atop a side table, desk, dresser, or vanity and can hold a variety of things. Many people even use it to display beauty products (i.e. makeup palettes, brushes, hair products, etc!). Personally, I’d have it on my desk to hold a few notebooks I’m always writing in, a pencil cup, tape dispenser, stapler, and other office items that take up valuable desk space. In fact, I’m about to order one of these right now.
2. Mail & Key Holder. Mail tends to be scattered everywhere when you live with multiple people. This is a perfect solution for someone with roommates. Donny and I are currently living with a roommate and it can be difficult to keep all of the mail contained, yet separated. This holder makes it easy to sort mail, keep it accessible in one place, and even keep track of everyone’s keys too (which always seem to end up on the counter otherwise).
3. Baskets. Never underestimate the power of a basket! I love them and have them all over the house. I have used my baskets to hold blankets, books/magazines, hand towels, personal care products, laundry products, etc. They make organizing look good too. Functional yet decorative! Baskets can be pricey but this set of 2 is extremely affordable.
4. Bakeware rack. Storing cookware is such a pain. More often than not, you’re just piling things on top of each other so it all fits in your cupboard. Then you have to noisily shuffle through them whenever you want to use something (and it just so happens to be that cookie sheet on the bottom!). A bakeware rack like this solves that frustrating problem. You get to store your cookie sheets upright with easy access at any time. I already have a rack similar to this and it’s beyond helpful. This particular one is even adjustable. Such a great solution at such a cheap price.
5. Jewelry Organizer. If you’re a jewelry lover, it’s likely you already have some sort of jewelry box or storage for your jewelry. I use my jewelry box to store my finer jewels and use one of these t-bar organizers to hold everyday necklaces, bracelets, and watches. It looks really nice on top of my dresser and actually holds a lot of jewelry! It’s also great to be able to see all of my different jewelry options in front of me so I can decide which pieces I want to wear for the day. Definitely a must-have item for all the jewelry loving women in your life.
6. Kitchen organizer for teas and more. This organizer is great if you have a coffee bar in your home, but is also useful for placing on the kitchen counter. I’m a big tea lover so this is a perfect way to hold the various teas I like to heat up in the mornings. But really, the options are endless for this storage piece: hot chocolate packets, sweeteners, creamers, condiments, spice packets, etc. How can you not find a use for it?!
7. Sunglass/Eyewear holder. When you have multiple pairs of glasses (sunglasses or eyeglasses), proper storage for them is necessary. I’ve learned this the hard way unfortunately (several scratched pairs later). This case helps keep eyewear protected and readily available so you can pick your perfect pair before heading out of the house. It’s a classy looking case too, so it will add an elegant touch to your dresser or closet.
8. Battery storage case. Batteries are some of the hardest things to locate in your house and are frequently needed. Often times they wind up thrown into a junk drawer with a bunch of other things that don’t have a clear designated place of their own. This storage case easily houses all the different sizes of batteries you need and even includes a tester so you can check to see if your batteries are still in good working condition. No more digging through that junk drawer …at least for batteries.
9. Foldable drawer dividers. It’s so easy to throw underwear and socks into a drawer in an unorganized pile. But, how does it feel to open that drawer and see the mess of it later? Not so great. I love these drawer organizers to keep things neat and tidy while also keeping things separated within your drawers. Instant stress relief!
10. Soda can dispenser. Soda cans can take up a lot of room in the fridge. Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a way to stack them? With this dispenser, you load the cans in, take one out when you’d like, and the rest slide forward. Easy access to your fave drinks and there’s a shelf on top of the dispenser so you can put other fridge stuff on top of it. That’s utilizing your space efficiently! This dispenser will also work for your canned food too. Put one in your fridge and in your pantry!
11. Acrylic makeup organizer. I’m sure you’ve seen the super expensive acrylic makeup organizers before. Yes, I’ve drooled over them too. Did you know there are affordable ones as well? This one is! It has 3 big drawers and 4 small ones. It even comes with mesh padded inserts to cushion your products and keep them in place. How pretty would this be, sitting atop a vanity, filled with your best makeup?! And to think, you don’t even have to spend $30 on it. Gasp!
12. Grocery Bag Dispenser. I like to keep my plastic grocery bags for reuse (especially now that California charges for them), but they’re a pain to keep around if you don’t have a good place to store them. This dispenser holds 30 plastic grocery bags for clutter-free storage. Believe it or not, this is a necessity when it comes to home storage organizers. It’s so helpful!
And that completes my list of essential home storage organizers. I wholeheartedly believe all of them are great buys. Even though it’s hard to put a price on your own sanity, it’s nice to have such affordable options to support a stress-free living space.
