Lush is known for some amazing handmade bath and body products that are fresh and cruelty-free. I love everything about the brand and I’ve made a mental note that I need to buy from them more often this year. Last week, I remembered that mental note and gave Lush a little visit. I emerged with a smile and 4 new products.
I don’t take a lot of baths normally. I like to clean up in the shower and get on with my day. Sometimes, it’s nice to take a relaxing bath and Lush reminds me of that. I got 2 bath bombs and a bubble bar for my bath needs.
The first bath bomb I chose was Dragon’s Egg.
Price: $6.25

This bath bomb has a citrus sherbet scent that crackles and fizzles while releasing color. I enjoyed watching it roll around the water and the scent was truly amazing. It lingered on my skin all day long. The only downfall for me is that I feel like it’s a little pricey for a one-time use product. I don’t mind paying for it sometimes, but I mainly like products that can last for multiple uses. I limit my bath bomb purchases for this reason.
Since I was in a great shopping mood, I also picked the Enchanter bath bomb.
Price: $6.25 (not available on Lush website)
This bath bomb explodes into a swirl of pink and orange colors, leaving behind scents of lime and neroli. I haven’t used this one yet, but I’m anxious to try it. Judging by pictures I’ve seen on other blogs, it looks really pretty in the tub!
I also chose a bubble bar. I’ve used them before and I like that they can be halved to last for two baths. I had the orange one before, so this time I chose green.
Price: $5.95

This bubble bar is cleverly named a bubbleroon as it resembles a macaroon. You crumble it under the running water; the result: bubbles, green water, and a fresh scent. It made every inch of my skin feel super soft too as it’s enriched with Shea Butter.
Lastly, as I was checking out, I caught a glance of some lip scrubs and remembered people saying very positive things about them. There were two flavors available at the time and I chose Bubblegum.
Price: $9.95

Now, this is a pricey lip scrub, especially since you can make your own at home. Sometimes, I just like a little luxury! I chose this one because it was pink, but in hindsight, I probably should’ve gone with ‘Popcorn’ instead. I don’t enjoy bubblegum flavors much, however, it is definitely tolerable. The ‘Mint Julips’ flavor would’ve been the best I think, but they were out of it. These scrubs exfoliate your lips, while also moisturizing them. My lips get chapped beyond belief, so I really needed something to bring them back to life. I’ve been using this scrub quite frequently and my lips are much softer and more hydrated.
