I’ve been talking about taking steps to make my hair healthier and grow faster. I wanted to make some changes to my hair care routine. In the past, I would just cut my hair short and let it grow out from there, but I wanted to keep it long this time and just focus on treating my hair better.
With the new set of guidelines I’ve been following I do notice a difference in my hair but only slightly. Here are my observations:
1. Since I wash my hair less often it seems to produce less oil and look less greasy at my roots. Therefore, I don’t even feel like I need to wash my hair as much!
2. I basically kicked my hair dryer to the curb (ok, not completely!) and now I let my hair dry naturally most of the time, which is somewhat reducing damage. I do keep my hair dryer around in case I need to get ready quickly, but life has been good without that extra step.
3. My hair feels a bit stronger and more moisturized because of the products I’ve been using. This has also helped the appearance of my hair too. The healthier my strands become, the better they look!
4. I do have some split ends which a trim would help immensely. I have to put it on my to-do list, but I think my hair will look and feel even better when I do this.
5. I notice my hair in general is more manageable. Less tangles, easier to work with, less frizz, etc.
I don’t see a major improvement yet, but I’m going to continue with my new hair care routine and see what happens. I’m going to try to be patient, but we all know how hard that is when it comes to hair! Our impatience leads us to quick and easy solutions (aka chopping our hair off!).

Heeey ! I have a suggestion for your hair. Drink the amount of water (8 glasses a day) and eat a lot of peanut butter.
My hair generally doesn’t grow fast but it grew half an inch this week from me doing that!
