Skincare is a tricky thing to figure out. You have to try a lot of products to find the really good ones that work. I’ve tried all sorts of skin care products since the start of my blog. Through my testing, I’ve come across 5 products that I find to be seriously amazing. Keep reading to learn about my skincare must-have products and why I think they’re so incredible.
5 Skincare Must-Have Products
1. Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Mask
Buy this if: You need an intense hydrating treatment. Great for dry skin.
What it does: Hydrates and repairs. Prevents skin from dehydrating.
This isn’t a typical mask that you rinse off after a few minutes. You apply it and let it soak into your skin overnight. I love it because it’s not super heavy and doesn’t feel like a mask. I apply it a couple nights a week, right before bed. It soaks in pretty quickly and makes my skin feel extremely soft and smooth by the morning. You have to try it!
2. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Buy this if: You have oily skin
What it does: Hydrates skin with a lightweight, non-greasy formula. Used as a daily moisturizer.
I don’t use any other moisturizer (in daytime). It feels nice on my skin and I like that it doesn’t leave a layer of grease behind. It absorbs quickly too. Definitely my favorite moisturizer of all time! There’s also a version of this moisturizer for dry skin too. It’s so popular for a reason. Everyone should try it at least once.
3. Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant
Buy this if: You want a good daily exfoliant. Great for rough, textured skin.
What it does: Micro-exfoliates dead cells, brightens, evens skin tone, and reveals smooth skin.
I can’t say enough good things about this product. While it is on the pricey side, I am hooked and would definitely recommend it 1000 times (and then 1000 times more). Yes, it’s that good. My skin looks brighter and feels less rough or textured after I use it. It makes a huge difference when used on a regular basis. If only I could have a lifetime supply of this stuff.
4. Clarisonic Mia
Buy this if: You want a daily deep clean.
What it does: Cleans deeply yet gently; softens skin. Various brush heads are available for different types of skin (sensitive, deep pores, acne, etc).
This device has been a game changer for my skin. GAME CHANGER. I use it every night after I remove my makeup. There isn’t a night I don’t use it. My skin looks more clear and healthy because of it. Breakouts have lessened to few and far between where they used to be daily! It has made a huge difference after using it everyday. It’s helped soften my skin where it used to be rough. I have the best skin I’ve ever had thanks to this facial brush. It was the best investment I’ve ever made. If you get nothing else for your skin, get this and use it regularly. You will not be disappointed with the results!

5. Mario Badescu Drying Cream
Buy this if: You need a good spot treatment
What it does: Treats blemishes and prevents them from getting bigger or spreading.
Super amazing spot treatment. I don’t need to use this very often (thanks to my skin care routine), but when I do, it works wonders! The cream doesn’t dry up on my skin like others do and I find that it does exactly what it says it will do. I put it on my breakouts or single blemishes at night and when I wake up, they have noticeably decreased in size or have completely gone away. This was the first spot treatment I found that actually works! This cream can even be worn under makeup because it can conceal as well as heal.
All of these products keep my skin looking great and constantly improving. Not only do they work, but they work incredibly well! Each link I provided is an affiliate link, but I would not say such great things about them if I didn’t truly believe they’re amazing.
