Wet n Wild Megaslicks Lip Balm Stains

The other day I had some time to browse around CVS. I made my way over the the Wet n Wild display. Wet n Wild frequently impresses me with their low prices and good products. I made a selection of four Megaslicks Balm Stains. They were just $2.99 a piece and were available in some appealing shades.

There are 6 hues total and my CVS had 5 of them. At the time, there was also a deal going on for Buy One Get One 50% Off for these balms. After choosing my four shades, I came across the NYC display and discovered that they had a comparable balm available for the same price and in a lot more shades. I still stuck with the WnW ones, but I think I might go back for a few NYC balms just to be able to compare them.

My shades:

• Pinky Promise – pale pink with a sheen
• Red-dy Or Not – classic red
• Lady and the Vamp – berry purple
• Rico Mauve – muted mauve

These balm stains have a smooth formula that doesn’t feather. They’re not just tinted balms; they actually have substantial color that lasts. They also leave a cool, minty sensation on your lips upon application.
