Buy fresh flowers
You can get them at the grocery store or pick some out at a farmer’s market. You’ll find some gorgeous blooms and be able to make your own custom bouquet to set out in your home for everyone to enjoy.
Make an Easter basket for someone
You can do this for friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, or your significant other. For adult baskets, you can include things like candy, snacks, books, bath products, cozy socks, nice pens, a journal, etc.
Do some Spring cleaning
It’s the perfect time to clean out the garage, closets, and other storage spaces. Keep the things you want, set aside things to give away or sell, and throw out items you deem as garbage. Here are some printables to help you plan your Spring cleaning.
Plant a garden
Gardening is fun, therapeutic, and rewarding. It doesn’t have to be stressful either. Tomatoes and cucumbers are easy plants to start with. Find out your plant hardiness zone and then look up tips for planting in that zone.
Color eggs
Coloring eggs is always a favorite activity for kids, but adults can enjoy it too! Throw on some good music, grab your hard-boiled eggs, and get to dyeing. Here’s an easy way to dye eggs.
Have an egg hunt
Another activity not limited to just kids. Invite some friends over to color eggs, have an egg hunt, and enjoy some snacks and drinks. Give everyone a little candy bag as a party favor.
Go on a picnic
As the weather gets warmer, there are more opportunities for being outside. Take your picnic stuff with you to your backyard or head to a nearby park. The fresh air and sun will feel so nice.
All-in-one insulated picnic backpack. Comes with blanket, 4 sets of flatware, plates, wine glasses, insulated wine pouch, cheese knife & wine opener, salt/pepper shakers, and bamboo cutting board.
Go to a baseball game
Spring is for baseball! Hit up a local baseball game for a few hours of lowkey fun. Even if you’re not the biggest baseball fan, it’s a fun way to get out of the house.
Eat dinner outside
Opt for patio seating at a restaurant. It’s a great time to do this before the hot days of Summer keep you indoors. This is even better when there’s good music and a slight breeze.
Get froyo
Froyo (frozen yogurt) is such a refreshing treat. Froyo places offer a variety of flavors that you can often sample first, as well as lots of toppings, like fruit, candy, and sauces. You can customize it just the way you like it.
Enjoy the sun
Find ways to get outside and enjoy that warm sun. Chances are, you’ve been stuck inside a lot because of Winter weather. Spring is the time we can start outdoor activities again. Even just sitting in the sun with an iced tea for an hour will warm your soul. Don’t forget the sunscreen!
Have a yard sale
After you’ve done your Spring cleaning, you may have a pile of items that you’ve decided to get rid of. Make some extra cash and extra space by having a yard sale. Put up a couple signs in the neighborhood or post about it on your neighborhood app.
Go to brunch
Sunny, warm weekends are ideal for brunch! You can go early or choose a later time as most restaurants offer brunch until the early afternoon. Mimosas go great with brunch (or iced tea).
Pick berries
Some local farms may offer berry picking. Do some research about the ones near you. Oftentimes, they charge by the pound or by basket and it’s not very expensive. It’s a simple activity and you get a haul of fresh berries straight from the farm.
Put out a bird feeder
You’ll attract a variety of birds and it’s fun to watch them. The sound of birds chirping is so peaceful too. Use caution about where you put the feeder if you have pets that may want to harm them.
Start a new hobby
Learn a new craft or skill. Start with something small and easy to learn. You may even find a new passion or business venture!
Refresh your closet
Go through your closet and get rid of old clothes that don’t fit or you’re least likely to wear. You can donate them, sell them, or throw them out if they’ve seen better days. Then consider treating yourself to a few new quality pieces to replace what you gave up.
Listen to live music
You can find live music at some restaurants, downtown areas, parks, markets, and local events. It’s always a good time to grab a bite and listen to some tunes.
Get active
Take the chance to exercise outside. Take a walk or hike along a nice trail. Enjoy the beauty of nature and everything in bloom.
Get organized
Once you’ve done your Spring cleaning, you can use the opportunity to get organized! Organize your garage, closet, files, kitchen, and any other space that needs it.
