It’s Summer again! My favorite time of year. With Summer comes freedom and fun. One fun thing to do in Summer is go to the beach. It’s one of my favorite things to do during the season, but in order to go to the beach, you have to prepare. I’m sharing a list of 8 Summer items to take to the beach (or any other location under the sun!). All of these items were sent to me in Popsugar’s June Must Have Box.

I needed a cute hat and I don’t seem to come across a lot of cute ones too often. I like wearing a hat to shade my face and sometimes it’s nice just to cover a bad hair day. 3. A Good Read
For: Entertainment
In the box: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Summer reading! It’s always nice to sit back on the beach, with a cold drink and a good read. I’m excited to dive into the pages of this novel with how good the summary sounds. I have yet to start it, but it looks to be a story of Hollywood luxury and glamour met with friendship, love, struggles, and realities. I’ll be packing this in my bag to enjoy by the water.

4. A carryall pouch or bag
For: Holding your stuff

This splash-proof bag is awesome. Not only do I love the print, but the material feels light as well as protective. It’s thick and coated so that you can easily carry your damp items around with you or stash your dry things to keep them dry. I like that it’s big enough to hold quite a few things (i.e. swimsuit, makeup, sunscreen, hair products, etc). So useful.

5. Cuticle Oil
For: Treating cuticles

Cute Summer nails are great, but what good are they without nice cuticles to go along with them?! Cuticle care is something we often neglect. This one from NCLA is a nourishing cuticle oil with an amazing honeysuckle scent. I wish I could have this scent as a bodywash or perfume. It’s that good! Plus, this oil makes cuticles look their best. Definitely necessary in this list of Summer items.

6. A Yummy Snack
For: Avoiding those hangry outbursts

Gotta have that snack to satisfy your cravings while under the sun. I always like to bring a snack with me, whether I’m chilling at the pool or hanging at the beach. These mini mustache-shaped cookies are cookie butter flavored. Cute, charming, and delicious!

I like to enjoy my ice cold beverages through a straw and these are too cute to pass up. Sometimes the cutest accessories are also the most simple, right? I’ll be decking out my drinks with these straws all Summer long.

For: Quenching your thirst
In the box: Starbucks | Frappuccino Coffee Drink
These Starbucks frappuccino drinks are always so good and they really help wake me up when I need it. I buy a pack of these at a time and take them along with me to get my day started. They’re great at the beginning of a long, fun-filled day.
