We spent last Saturday night out at a super fun Sacramento event I hadn’t heard of before. It’s called: Saturday Nights at the Barn, hosted by Off the Grid. It’s an evening filled with music, food trucks, and cocktails by the river, all as the sun goes down.
The Barn is a uniquely-shaped bridgelike structure and a venue for various events. It sits right next to the river in West Sacramento. Saturday Nights at the Barn are occurring (rain or shine) from May to August and as you can guess, every Saturday night.
I was able to sample some of the best foods being offered ….and of course, the cocktails too. How could I not?!
We sat by the river for a bit while we watched the sunset and shared laughs as we took pictures together.
Then we sat back, taking in the music and the cool night, ending the evening with a Dole Whip. I cannot pass up a Dole Whip EVER. No picture of that because I was WAYYYY too busy eating it up.
There was even a dancer decked out in colored lights and a lighted hula hoop (I want one!).
We agreed this is definitely an event we’ll have to come back to. It was better than I even expected. It’ll be even better as the weather gets a bit warmer and the sun stays out a little longer too. Regardless, the turnout was great and the event provided us with a entertaining evening.
