Today, I’m sharing with you 15 best skin care products that work well. I’ve broken them down into different categories, depending on what they’re used for. Keep reading to learn about the products and why they’re so great.
15 Best Skin Care Products
For moisturizing
- IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream
- Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel/Lotion
Currently, I’m using IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream as my daily moisturizer. It’s lightweight and hydrating, but it also makes my skin more dewy instead of dull and dry. It’s not greasy, though I would recommend it more for dry skin than oily skin. Another favorite of mine is Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel/Lotion. It’s very lightweight, non-greasy, and hydrating as well. It gives less dewiness than the IT cream.
For removing makeup
- Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes
I use the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to initially take off the majority of my makeup at night. These wipes are great for removing the surface layer of makeup, oil, and dirt. They remove all of my eye makeup (including mascara) without too much rubbing or irritation. Then I use other products to deep clean my pores.
For a deep clean
- Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser
- Clarisonic Mia
The combination of Clean & Clear Essentials Foaming Facial Cleanser and my Clarisonic Mia with a deep pore brush head give me the deepest clean I could get. I like to use this combo after using the wipes because it prevents me from pushing my makeup all around my face and making an utter mess! It really helps with unclogging my pores too. This step keeps my skin clear and free of breakouts.
For overnight hydration and repair
- Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
- Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster
- Elizabeth Arden Flawless Future with Ceramide Caplet Serum
I mentioned two Elizabeth Arden products I’m loving in a recent post (7 New Products I’m Using). One is a moisturizer (the Superstart Skin Renewal Booster) and the other is a serum (Flawless Future). I apply both after my face is all fresh and clean, right before bed. Not only does this duo hydrate my skin and make it softer, but it also evens my skin tone, reduces the look of fine lines, and helps my skin to repair itself. I can’t say enough good things about either of them! When I’m not using those two, I reach for my Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask for a moisture treatment while I sleep and dream of unicorns and rainbows.
Spot Treatments
- Murad Acne Spot Fast Fix
- Mario Badescu Drying Cream
- Mario Badescu Drying Lotion
My skin has been doing great lately with very minimal breakouts. Yay! When I do get the occasional blemish, I alternate between a couple different products to treat it. Murad Acne Spot Fast Fix is a clear gel that reduces the size of a pimple in as little as one day. I usually notice a difference the next morning. Mario Badescu Drying Cream isn’t completely invisible on the skin, but targets under-the-surface bumps and blemishes and it works very quickly. It works better than any other one I’ve used (find a full review of it here). The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is one a lot of people love for quickly treating whiteheads, which I don’t really struggle with, but it’s definitely worth a mention and does work well too.
For Concealing Blemishes
- Murad Acne Treatment Concealer
When I do get a pimple or blemish, I like to conceal it with a product that helps to also treat it! The Murad Acne Treatment Concealer fights blemishes while providing coverage for them. It only comes in two colors, but is easily hidden under foundation.
Masks
- Sephora Rose Mask
- Mario Badescu Whitening Mask
- GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
Most of the time, I just love a good sheet mask. They’re quick, easy, give great results, and the least messy. Many, many brands make them, but one I love is the Sephora Rose Mask. As for cream masks, an awesome one for brightening skin would be the Mario Badescu Whitening Mask. It also reduces acne scarring and minimizes redness. And what would a skincare favorites post be without mentioning the ever-popular GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment? It burns a little when first applied, but it’s great for healing and preventing breakouts.
That is quite a list of the best skin care products, no? They’re all products I’ve been using and testing for a long time, so I’m pretty confident in their abilities. Hopefully you found some new products that interest you. I would recommend all of them! Just make sure they work for your skin type before purchasing.
