Star Wars Makeup Tutorial with COVERGIRL

Who’s getting excited for the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens? I sure am! I can’t wait to see it. To celebrate the opening of the movie, I’m sharing a Star Wars makeup tutorial inspired by the characters of the light side. Keep reading to find out how to get the look using COVERGIRL makeup!

Here are the COVERGIRL products I’m using for this look:

• Bombshell Shineshadow by Lashblast in Color Me Money
• Eye shadow quad in VA-VA Violets
• Star Wars Limited Edition Super Sizer waterproof mascara
• Star Wars Limited Edition Colorlicious Lipstick in Lilac

Star Wars Makeup Tutorial:

Step 1

Apply Bombshell Shineshadow in Color Me Money to the lid and inner corner. This cream eye shadow adds a radiant silver glow to the eyelid.

Step 2

Use shades 3 and 4 in the VA-VA Violets eye shadow quad to deepen the outer corner of the eyelid and create a smokey look. Shade 3 should be applied first as the transition color from the silver shadow and then shade 4 will deepen the very outer corner. Make sure to blend well!

Step 3

Use shades 1 and 2 from the eye shadow quad under the lower lashline to give the look a more exotic and magical vibe.

Step 4

Add Super Sizer mascara to upper and lower eyelashes to add definition and top off the look!

Step 5

Give your lips a purple frosty hue! Apply Colorlicious Lipstick in Lilac to the lips.

So there’s the look! The eyes are pretty simple and easy to do and the purple adds a magical twist on a basic smokey eye.  The lilac metallic lips give off a bold vibe that is anything but ordinary. If you’re not comfortable rocking such an intense lip, there are ways to tone it down and make it more wearable.
