I love wearing perfume and I have my share of full size bottles and rollerballs. Still, I like to be able to try new scents with different seasons and moods. I don’t always want to commit to buying perfumes after only testing them once or twice. Why I like it
Monthly subscriptions are fun and it’s nice to have a variety of them. I love the idea of this subscription! I like that you get to pick the perfumes you try. When you hear about popular perfumes from friends or YouTubers, you can just add them to the list and try them for yourself. Browsing through the site, it’s easy to search for the types of scents you’re looking for. Beyond that, clicking on each perfume shows you a description of the scent and the different notes it features. I was able to easily find plenty right up my alley.
Let my show you how easy it is…
For my queue, I have a couple perfumes that were recommended to me after taking the quiz and a couple popular scents that I’ve always wanted to try.
For the first month, I have Ralph Lauren Romance. The 2nd month is Prada Candy, the 3rd month is YSL Parisienne, and the 4th month is Versace Bright Crystal. I can still add a fragrance to month 5 and 6 too! And I can change the order around if I decide I want a different one to come next. I can even delete any perfumes from my queue if I change my mind about them.
To the right of my queue, I can select what kind of scents I’m looking to try (flirty, fruity, sexy, classic, etc.) and Scentbird will show me the fragrances that match. Below each suggestion, there’s a link to add it to my queue. It’s all very simple!
Additional thoughts
I’m liking that the case allows for the perfume to be enclosed so I can have it in my purse or luggage without worrying about it leaking. It’s also nice to know I can buy extra cases if necessary because I’m not sure if I’d go through 120 sprays of a perfume in one month. My case is black, but I see a few colors I’d love to have.
