I’ve been shopping and now I’m sharing what I bought! Watch the video for a quick rundown of my purchases and to see closeups of each item. Read below to learn more about the items and some first impressions.
Ulta
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer – This concealer is quite popular right now and my Ulta said they’re having trouble keeping it in stock. Everyone is buying it! The shade I’m using is Medium Light Neutral. It does a good job at concealing imperfections and redness while staying put all day.
Miss Spa Moisturizing Facial Sheet Mask – I’m on a sheet mask kick right now. I’m loving them because they’re so effortless. I put one on, go about my business for 20 minutes (probably online shopping or Instagram browsing), take it off, and rub the excess product into my skin. No mess, no rinsing, no stiff face as the mask dries. Afterwards, my skin feels hydrated and looks radiant. I’ve been doing this once a week lately.
Benefit They’re Real Mascara – This mascara is a cult favorite that lengthens, curls, thickens, lifts, and separates without smudging, clumping, or drying out. It’s just the sort of mascara I like! I’m currently loving it and would definitely buy again.
Lush
Comforter Bubble Bar – What Lush lover hasn’t tried this bubble bar?! Well…..me actually. This was my first time buying it. I took a bath the other day and used half to fill my tub with big, fluffy bubbles.
Honey Bee Bath Bomb – My local Lush only had a few options available for bath bombs when I stopped in. This was one of them. The honey-toffee scent really drew me in. I haven’t used this one yet, but maybe I’ll be in a bath mood soon so I can try it out.
Superbalm Scalp Treatment – I’m not going to lie, my scalp gets flaky sometimes. I don’t like it one bit, but I’m pretty certain it’s because of our water. I’ve tried a lot of different products to help, however, haven’t had a lot of luck in finding the perfect solution. The search has led me to this scalp treatment from Lush. You massage it onto your scalp, leave for 20 minutes, then rinse. For the price, I hope it’s a miracle product!
Birchbox
I was able to use $80 in Birchbox points with 30% off my order (for being a subscriber for 30 months) and free 2-day shipping (thanks to being an Ace). I spent around $12 on the following…
Macadamia Weightless Moisture Leave-in Conditioning Mist – A lightweight detangler and protector with Macadamia oil and argan oil. I’m always looking for hair products that will condition and hydrate my hair. I think this mist will be just what I’m looking for.
Marcelle Gentle Eye Make-up Remover for Sensitive Eyes – I take off my makeup every night and usually it’s just with a basic cleanser. To avoid rubbing my eyes so much, I decided to purchase a gentle remover specifically for eyes. Bonus – this one is for sensitive eyes and contact wearers (that’s me!).
Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips – Nipple Balm?! What the….??? Yes, you read that right. This balm was originally designed for breastfeeding women. Turns out, it actually works on a lot more than just nipples! It can be used on cuticles, lips, feet, eczema, etc. It’s 100% natural, tasteless, and odorless.
GLAMGLOW SUPERMUD Clearing Treatment – Another extremely popular product and so expensive! Good thing I was able to use my points to get it. There are multiple Glam Glow masks and this is the first time I’ve bought one! Eventually, I want to try all of them. I’ve used this one twice already since buying it and it was an instant love. It burns just a little when I first apply it, but after taking it off, I have the softest skin ever!
Sephora
Murad Environmental Shield Starter Kit – This kit lightens spots, brightens, and protects skin. I’m such a fan of value kits like this, especially when trying a brand for the first time. This is my first time trying Murad. I’ve heard some good things about Murad, so hopefully I like it. If not, on to the next!
DSW
Lulu Townsend Nisha Platform Pump – Lacy, black, and gorgeous. As soon as I tried these shoes on they were mine. I was not leaving the store without them! They might be the prettiest heels I own.
Lulu Townsend Della Platform Pump – I love the glittery criss-cross front of the shoe. I bought these because it’s time I start building up my heel collection. I have way too many casual shoes already.
