It’s time for something a little bit different. I’ve been incorporating more lifestyle topics into my blog to mix things up a bit. Don’t get me wrong, there will still be plenty of beauty posts to come! So today, I’m sharing DIY Fall decorations.
I love getting crafty! I also love Fall decorating. I put those loves together and created 3 festive decorations for Fall that are easy to recreate.
Decoration #1
Supplies
- Empty candle jar (Tutorial)
- Candy corn
- Raffia
- Tealight candle
First, I poured the candy corn into the candle jar. Then, I placed the tealight on top of the candy corn and nestled it in a bit. Then I tied raffia around the jar and that was it! So easy, right?
Decoration #2
Supplies
- Large glass vase
- Pinecones
- Glitter
- Tacky Glue
- Raffia
- Ribbon
The first thing I did was add glitter to my pinecones. I used Tacky glue to to coat the edges and then sprinkled glitter onto the glue, shaking off any excess. Then, I let it settle and dry overnight. The next day, I put raffia in the bottom of the vase and placed my pinecones on top. I wrapped ribbon around the vase, tied it in a bow, and was done!
Decoration #3
Supplies
- Empty candle jar
- Corn kernels
- Small Pinecones
- Twine
For this one, I poured the kernels into the jar, filling it to about 3/4 full. I placed the pinecones on top of the kernels and tied 2 strands of twine around the jar. This decoration was complete!
