Drugstore Finds: COVERGIRL Lip Perfection Lipcolor

When it comes to lipstick, I like to try a lot of brands. Then, when I find a good formula or finish, I go back for more colors. I tried CoverGirl’s Lip Perfection lipstick in Darling a couple years ago. It’s still one of my favorite lipsticks. I always browse the shades when I’m at the store (there are so many!). So, last week, I decided to finally go back and buy a few. Keep reading for more info and swatches!

A moisturizing  lipstick, available in tons of shades!

 

I find that these lipsticks are smooth and creamy when applied. The color is rich and solid. They’re packed with color. Sometimes, I just dab the color on my lips so that it gives a nice healthy, flush instead of full-blown color. I like wearing it to its full potential too though. These lipsticks leave a pretty, satin finish.

 

 

I bought 2 at Walmart and one at Target. They were less expensive at Walmart (I got them for $4.99 there!). I decided to go with shades I don’t already have in my collection: Sweet – an orange-y coral; Divine – a light purple; and Eternal – a cranberry pink.

Aren’t they such fun colors? I think the next ones I get will be nude shades. There are just so many colors to choose from. Which one is your favorite?
