Earlier this month, I shared some info about Olay’s new Regenerist Luminous line that helps give you beautiful, glowing skin. Skin care has been a big priority in my beauty routine for awhile. I’m always on the search for products that can improve the look of my skin and also keep it looking great. I was excited to try these products from Olay and now I can tell you more about them!
I was given 3 products to test out:
- Brightening Cream Cleanser
- Tone Perfecting Cream
- Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl
Olay Regenerist Luminous Brightening Cream Cleanser
This cleanser aims to instantly brighten and illuminate skin. It contains micro-beads to exfoliate and reveal radiant, luminous skin. It has a hydrating formula that leaves skin feeling soft as well as clean. Dirt and makeup will be removed by this cleanser.
My observations:
I noticed right away that this cleanser had a pleasant floral scent. It’s not strong nor does it stick around after you’ve rinsed the cleanser off. I also tend to like cleansers that exfoliate. This one isn’t harsh; I would definitely say it’s gentle enough for daily use.
Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream
This moisturizer hydrates skin with a creamy, non-greasy formula. It helps to even skin tone and texture. It also brightens skin and fades the look of dark spots over time.
My Observations:
This product also has a floral scent. It does stick around after application, but not to the point that I’m bothered by it. It’s just very light. I’ve noticed that this cream doesn’t leave me with a greasy or heavy feel. It absorbs really well. After application, my skin feels smooth and looks bright.
Olay Regenerist Luminous Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl
This product is great for those with dark under-eye circles. The formula contains multicolored pearlescent pigments that contribute to brightness by reducing the appearance of dark circles. It evens skin tone in the eye area. It can be used under the eye, on the eyelid, and around crow’s feet.
My observations:
I don’t struggle with dark circles (thanking my lucky stars!), but I still like my under-eye area to look bright for a fresh, awake effect. My eyelids have a little discoloration to them as well as slight redness. Therefore, this product still works for me. It’s considered to be an eye cream but I think of it more as a gel. It feels a little sticky for awhile, but it doesn’t feel heavy. After application, I noticed more of a brightness around my eyes.
Overall, I’m glad I was able to try these products. I’ve always wondered about Olay skin care and now I feel like it’s another option for my beauty routine.
