I’m a sucker for tubes of lipgloss. I am just drawn to them. I do not, however, care for the feel of them on my lips most of the time. I hardly wear gloss (even thought I like the look of it) because it feels sticky and my long hair gets stuck to my lips every few minutes. I’ve seen a lot of buzz about the NYX Butter Glosses and since they’re carried at my Target now, I thought I would buy one to try. I picked out the shade Vanilla Cream Pie.

This gloss surprised me. It provided nice color, didn’t feel thick, and wasn’t sticky. It’s smooth and creamy, as the name would suggest. I like the color a lot too. It’s a nice mid-tone pink, so it’s not too bright or too dark.
I keep it in my purse and reapply throughout the day. The price isn’t bad and I’m thinking I’d like to buy a few more colors.

I love that this lip gloss smells like a cupcake, and even better, it’s cruelty free!
Next I’m planning to try the Soft Matte Sweet Creams by NYX. Have you tried them?
