When you’re getting ready for the day, it’s so easy to reach for the nude shadows. They’re simple and safe. Using color (especially blue) can be a little scary, but I’m going to show you how I like to incorporate blue into my look every now and then. Follow the jump to see how I created this defining look.
Blue shadow can be a beautiful color to complement brown eyes and it doesn’t have to look clownish or crazy. I love to use deep jewel-toned blues most of the time and it helps to define my brown eyes. In this case, I applied a rich brown on my lid and then used a bright blue layered over top. When mixed, it created a beautiful deeper blue hue.
